Below is a quick outline to the complete stages of setting up, selling and closing an event with BAM's ticketing platform
After completion of your account and the setup of your url domain (I.e www.suents.com/yourunionname) you are 10 points away from selling your events online;
- Login to your administration panel and create a new event. For the first time you will be required to input your standard terms and conditions of sales, we provide standard templates for easy re-issue.
- Input the event information including images, times and tell the system the date of the event. This information will then be used as the main advert for the event within the website calendar system.
- Every event asks if you want to sell tickets. If you do there are a couple of extra fields to fill in;
- How many tickets are available to sell online?
- What type is it? Ticket, Queue Jumper or Prize Draw
- How much the tickets are?
- Terms and conditions for the purchase of the ticket
- Information on how to claim your ticket or enter the event
- The event information and ticket information is then submitted to the site and after confirmation of setting the event is live on your portal you are now selling online live.
- Students are now able to buy your tickets – The event organiser can receive e-mails every time a ticket is sold or they can login to view who has purchased tickets for the event, however you need to make sure you have advertised the URL portal address through your current website and other medias such as posters, press, email etc.
- It is possible to edit a ticket information throughout the duration of it being live such as adding or removing stock levels or amending the terms and conditions.
- On the day of an event or if the tickets sell out the event organiser then deactivates the ticket from the live system. This will now stop any more tickets being sold through the site.
- The event organiser within the event administration is able to then download all the ticket sales for the event in either PDF or CSV format and print out the sales information to be used for any method of distributing or allowing students into the event.
- The system automatically creates a receipt, which will be raised on the 1st day of every month. This receipt will raise all of your ticket sales that are over 14 days old. Please ensure that you enter your account details into the accounts configuration page so that payment via BACS can be completed.
- In close, BAM's Ticketless Platform means that student organisational events can have the ability to promote and sell their events online 24/7 to their membership, want to set up your account today? contact us now!
